I get some great views on my travels around South Devon, but recently I saw a first, for me, on the River Teign. From a customer’s house, in Shaldon, I was able to watch a cargo ship being led into Teignmouth, by the pilot, before being turned around, with the help of a tug, and docking backwards ready to leave again going forwards. I had been called to Shaldon to replace a Velux Roller Blind. However, although it wasn’t a genuine Velux product, I was able to dismantle it, repair and re-tension the spring before re-fitting the Blind.
The customer will replace this and one other non-Velux product in the future, but also purchased 2 new Roller Blinds while I was there. I always think providing a good service will reap it’s rewards.
