Cold Conservatory to Warm Living Space

When Jennie moved into her new home in Buckfastleigh she wanted to make more use of the conservatory at the property.  I fitted Perfect Fit 25mm Venetian Blinds to all the windows and Pleated Roof Blinds to the roof.

It’s now a cool place to sit in the summer and a warm and friendly living room for the winter.

If you have a conservatory and would like a quote for Blinds, or just some advice, fill out the form on this page and I will get back to you.

Utility Room Transformed

A customer recently asked me if I could do anything to make there utility room more homely.  2 long Verticals along the outside and then the doors and window at each end were covered with Perfect Fit 25mm Venetians.

The result was to turn a cold looking annexe into a warm cosy extension.  If you would like some advice or a quote, fill out the form on this page and I will get back to you.

Perfect Fit & Romans transform new build

I’ve now fitted Blinds to several of the new builds on Torquay’s Primrose Hill.  Similar houses, but different types of Blinds depending on the customers desires.

The one pictured went for Roman Blinds in the lounge/dining/kitchen area with Perfect Fit Pleated Blinds to the 2 corner doored area. One in the lounge and one in the master bedroom.  The Romans add a classy touch to the windows while the Pleated Blinds are more practical on the doors.  If you would like a quote, or just some advice fill out the form on this page and I will get back to you.

Old Hotel to Family Home

An old Victorian hotel in Teignmouth was recently bought as a private residence.

As part of the make over Wooden Venetian Blinds were fitted to the many large windows.  As can be seen from the picture of one of the bays, they look really good and the customer was very happy with them.

Replacement Blinds Add Class to Room

20 years ago I fitted 2 large Vertical Blinds for Jayne & Tony and they were really nice.  But the fabric they chose to replace them recently, while decorating, has transformed the room completely.

This picture could easily have come from a glossy homes magazine.  They look so classy and Jayne & Tony were delighted.  If you would like to upgrade your decor and would like a quote, or just some advice, fill out the form on this page and I will get back to you.

Rugby’s my new Football

Having been a lifetime fan of football, with my Dad being a professional player, coach and manager,  these days I much prefer the oval ball.

The main reason can be summed up by the following statement – Football is where 11 men spend 90 minutes pretending to be hurt while Rugby is 15 men spending 80 minutes pretending not to be hurt.  So every other Saturday during the winter months you will find me and my partner at Sandy Park watching Exeter Chiefs.

Great entertainment and pasties to die for.  My partner’s not a sports fan, apart from rugby, so we both win.  Meanwhile if you would like a quote for Blinds fill out the form on this page and I will get back to you.

Beautiful Sunset Over Torbay

I recently fitted 8 Wooden Venetian Blinds to a 3rd floor apartment in Torquay.  Finishing at the end of an autumn afternoon I caught this stunning sunset over the Bay.

Some think Blinds may obscure a view, but I think in this case the Blind actually enhances the view.  If you would like a quote or some advice on Wooden Venetians fill out the form on this page and I will get back to you.

Mermaid at Watergate Bay?

During our recent weeks holiday in North Cornwall we came upon this site.  Quietly enjoying breakfast at The Beach Hut at Watergate Bay, we noticed what seemed to be a mermaid on the beach.

It turned out to be a professional surfer doing a spot for the local news.  Her outfit was made from discarded body board covers to publicise the fact that they often end up in the sea and damage the environment and wildlife.

Anyway the photo shoot and filming provided some light entertainment, while enjoying our full English.  Selling Blinds is what makes these breaks possible so if you would like a quote fill out the form on this page and I will get back to you.

Day off at The Champions Trophy

In June I took a day off to go and watch England open the Champions Trophy Cricket Tournament at Cardiff. ..

It was a great days entertainment, if very cold for June, with England coming out victorious.  I love that being my own boss enables me to take odd days like this now and again.  It also recharges the batteries for my return to work.  So, if you would like some advice or a quote on Blinds, fill out the form on this site and I will get back to you.

Family Wedding

In November 2016 my eldest son Matt got married to Emma and now lives in Melksham in Wiltshire.  It was an unusual choice of venues, but it really worked and was a fantastic day. The actual ceremony was performed in The Roman Baths in Bath and following that we spent the afternoon in a private box at Ascot Races.  The food was good and the racing exciting, although my small win on the last race didn’t make up for my losses on the previous 6.

The bride looked beautiful and I’m sure they’re going to have a wonderful and happy life together.  The other bonus was that my other son, Nick, travelled back from New Zealand for the wedding and some family golf, aided by the bank of Dad, Matt and his Mum.  Sorry that the photo of the 3 of us is a bit blurred, but it was taken in a lift mirror.

Remember if your want a quote, or just some advice, give me a call or fill out the form on this web site and I will get back to you.
