Wooden Venetians add style

It seems to be accepted, these days, that wooden venetian blinds add style to a property.

These pictures of a recent 7 Blind fitting, on a new development in White Rock, Paignton, definitely seem to prove the point.

Proud dog owner

Having lost our Border Terrier, Izzy,  in February, to various ailments and old age, we decided to wait a while before taking the plunge again.

Well that lasted all of 2 weeks and by the end of March we had 2 new Border Terrier puppies, Ralph & Jordy, brothers.  Now they have just completed puppy training, with certificates to prove it.  Having just finished training let’s see how they go on our week in South Wales??.

Stunning view while working

My job takes me to all types of properties, in all types of locations.  However, it’s always nice fitting Blinds with stunning views through the windows, as here in Rock End in Torquay.

This job entailed replacing 10 Vertical headrails, as the customer loved the fabric, but it is no longer available.  Unfortunately the existing headrails, from a cheap Asian source, were starting to fall apart due to the sun.

Like most things, you normally do get what you pay for and this customer now has top quality headrails that should last for many years.  If you would like a quote, or just some advice, give me a ring or fill out the form on this page for a call back.

UK’s smallest city

On our recent holiday in South West Wales we visited the city of St Davids.  Apparently the smallest city in the UK, both by population and size.

By far the biggest building is the cathedral, a stunning building with the ruins of the Bishop’s palace next door.  Both being over 1500 years old!  Meanwhile if you would like a quote, or just some advice, then give me a ring or fill out the from on this page for a call back.

Gateway to Southern Ireland

On our recent holiday in South West Wales, we were based near Fishguard.  A small village on the coast which is also the main port for ferry departures to  Southern Ireland.

In the second picture you can make out the ferry in the distance just about to depart.  Meanwhile if you would like a quote or just some advice, give me a ring or fill out the form on this page for a call back.

Privacy with no loss of view

When looking to make windows private, but wanting to retain the view to outside, 25mm venetian blinds offer a perfect solution.

Very private from outside, they still enable a full view of the outside world from inside.  If you would like a quote for venetian blinds, or just some advice, give me a ring or fill out the form on this page for a call back.

House conversion

As part of a project to turn a house into 2 flats, a customer, in Paignton, asked me to supply all the Blinds for the project.  This included Roller Blinds, 2 Curved Vertical Blinds and a conservatory with the Verticals you see in the picture here.

Modern Look To New Apartment

I recently fitted vertical blinds to a new build of apartments in Teignmouth.  They gave a modern look to the windows of what are very modern looking rooms, an all round win.

Regular Time Updates in Brixham

I recently fitted a number of different Blinds for a customer in Brixham…

It was in one of the many tiny side roads, requiring parking in a car park and making several trios with Blinds & tools before starting the job.  Here is a view from one of the windows, through a White Wooden Venetian.

Quite close to the church, as you can see.  Beautiful building but quite noisy every 1/4 hour, 24 hours a day, when the bells chime!!!

Early finish to help at golf club

I recently finished work early to help out at Dawlish Warren Golf Club on there divot evening.  The idea is to get as many members as possible to volunteer and go round filling in all the unfilled divots, to help the course recover from the winter.

Being The Warren a fair few rabbit scrapes and holes were also filled.  Hopefully all players should do their own at the time, but unfortunately that doesn’t always happen.  Anyway, it’s a good job done and a great help to the greens staff.
