Early finish to help at golf club

I recently finished work early to help out at Dawlish Warren Golf Club on there divot evening.  The idea is to get as many members as possible to volunteer and go round filling in all the unfilled divots, to help the course recover from the winter.

Being The Warren a fair few rabbit scrapes and holes were also filled.  Hopefully all players should do their own at the time, but unfortunately that doesn’t always happen.  Anyway, it’s a good job done and a great help to the greens staff.

New Builds on The Dart at Totnes

I’ve recently supplied and fitted Blinds for a number of the new properties at Baltic Wharf in Totnes.

The one pictured was a whole house with Verticals and Faux Wood Venetians, with the picture showing the Verticals in the lounge bay window with river peeps between the properties opposite.

Weekend off in London

I recently took my partner to London for the weekend, where we took in a show and the Aviva Premiership Final.  Unfortunately, our team, Exeter Chiefs didn’t win, but we had a great day at Twickenham, followed by a nice meal in town with some old friends.  The show we saw was 42nd Street and I can highly recommend it, especially if, like me, you like the old Hollywood musicals.  It was also nice to just get away for a bit and recharge for the busy times ahead.

English Riviera Visitors

A common site in recent years in Torbay has been the visiting cruise ships.

It’s good for business in the bay as the cruisers are ferried ashore to visit around the bay and hopefully spend some money.

There have already been 2 this year, both pictured in this blog.  Unfortunately they’re not here long enough to buy blinds, but if you like a quote, or some information, fill out the form on this page for a call back, or call me now.

Patio area too hot?

Recently a customer contacted me because they had built a glass canopy over their patio area, out in the country side near Dartmouth.

They had to fill in one side and put up some fencing, due to the prevailing winds.  However, this did such a good job that they then needed me ti fit some Pleated Roof Blinds to keep the temperature down under the glass.

It was a lovely morning fitting in the sunshine, in lovely surroundings.

28 Blinds on one job!!

Sometimes a customer wants just one small Blind and sometimes it’s a bit more!

I recently fitted 28 in one house in Torquay. 16 Perfect Fit Pleated and a Vertical in the conservatory, then a combination of Rollers, Verticals and Perfect Fit in the rest of the house.

All went smoothly and the customer was very happy, which is always the aim.  If you would like a quote, or some information, fill out the form on this page for a call back, or call me now.

Wood Venetians – More Options.

I recently added a new manufacturer to my Wood Venetian suppliers.

Both my main suppliers manufacture in the British Isles, something I was very keen on.

This now gives me a much wider choice of styles and colours in both real wood and faux wood.  If you would like a quote for Wood Venetians then fill out the form on this page and I will get back to you.

Final Move for favourite customer

Some people stay in one house for a lifetime, others are always on the move.  One such customer of mine, who I have fitted Blinds for all through about 6 or 7 house now, has said this is her final move?  We shall see.  Anyway was once again pleased to put the finishing touches to her last/latest property, on the outskirts of Newton Abbot.  If you would like a quote or just some advice, then fill out the form on this page and I will get back to you.

Mixing Colours to stunning effect.

I recently fitted Roman Blinds, in 2 bay windows, for a customer in Paignton.  She decided she wanted the middle Blinds to be one colour, with the side ones contrasting, why not?  I think it worked really well and the customer was very pleased.  If you would like a quote, or just some advice, fill out the form on this page and I will get back to you.

Holiday Park all ready for the season.

What stunning views from Beverley Holiday Park, in Paignton.  I recently supplied them with a large number of 25mm Venetians and Roller Blinds, to keep in stock to replace the existing cheaper ones when they expire.

I also did some child safety work in a number of the log cabins on site.  If you would like your blinds checked to see if they meet the current child safety regulations, or would like a quote for new Blinds, then fill out the form on this page and I will get back to you.
