I recently went to the Princess Theatre, in Torquay, for an evening with Aggers & Tuffers. That is ex England cricketers turned commentators Jonathan Agnew & Phil Tuffnell. It was a very entertaining night with some very funny stories from their careers. Phil Tuffnells description of how he played fast bowling was particularly amusing. As he demonstrated, it basically saw him jumping around with arms and legs flailing, head turned away and bat wafting somewhere in the air. He referred to it as “I then played my preferred shot to a fast bowler”. I went alone, as it was a present from my partner. Needless to say she is not a cricket fan!
