Recently had a call from a customer, who had purchased 4 wooden venetian blinds from us, just over a year ago. 2 large ones and one small one had this effect on the bottom few slats. Not sure of the cause, maybe slats are treated to protect from uv rays and some slipped through the net. Anyway, despite being just out of guarantee, we said we would sort it for them. I spoke to our wood suppliers and they were, as ever, very helpful and agreed to replace the 3 blinds complete and free of charge.
