Which football legend has just had new blinds fitted?
Some of you may remember him as the ex Wolves, Exeter & Torquay striker, or until recently Commercial Manager and then Director of Football at Torquay United. He’s now a sports agent and we had many stories to swap, with reference to my Dad and football in general.
I am of course referring to Mr. Dean Edwards.
The picture below shows Dean playing for Torquay, against his beloved home town team, Wolves, in A Sherpa Vans Trophy Semi Final in 1989. “Deano” had the distinction of scoring in both legs to take Torquay through to the final that year. He also scored in that final before Torquay eventually went down to Bolton Wanderers.
